Kelly Olynyk

Kelly will be entering his fourth NBA season with the Boston Celtics. During his first three seasons Kelly was named to the Rising-Star roster to represent the rookie and sophmore players in the Rising-Star game during All-Star weekend. In his rookie year Kelly was named to the All-Rookie Second Team. As a member of the Gonzaga University Bulldogs Kelly was named First Team All-American in every poll. He was also named First Team Academic All-American in every poll and was the Academic All-American Player of the Year. Kelly was one of the five finalists for the prestigious Wooden Award. Kelly was also the only Canadian player in the 2013 NBA draft that did not play at a prep-school during his high-school career.

Ken Olynyk

Ken brings a wealth of coaching knowledge to the Klynyk. His coaching experience includes NBA, international competition, university, and the public school system. Ken has received many coaching awards including CIS coach of the year. Through 25 years of coaching university basketball, 16 years of coaching at the internationally with Canada Baskeball-spaning four world championships-and a year as a scout and observing coach in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors Ken has been given the opportunity to work with a variety of athletes. Even with his international and professional experience a highlight in Ken's career was winning two consecutive Provincial Championships with his daughter Maya's senior girls team in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.

Coach K has been a staple in School District 73 for the past 20 years. In that time he has successfully lead his teams to 10 Provincial Championship appearances, including four Final Four appearances at the senior boys level. Four of Coach K's players have gone on to play for the Canadian National team including two currently playing in the NBA, Kelly Olynyk and Robert Sacre. Above all that Coach K also holds a Bachelors of Pysical Education, a Masters in Sport Leadership and is an NCCP Level 3 certified coach.

Sam Dower

The Minnesota forward made his mark during his senior year at Gonzaga University. A starter for the Bulldogs Sam was named to West Coast Conference First-Team. He was also the WCC Tournament MVP which Gonzaga won. After graduating Sam signed a contract in France and then his second in Latvia with BK Valmiera. This past year Sam played in Poland for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza where he led his team in rebounds per game. Sam will Head back to Poland next year for another season.

Jordan Baker

John Bantock

In just a short time Jordan has emerged as a stand-out in Canadian basketball. Baker was a member of the University of Albert Golden Bears for five years, during that time he was recognized twice as a first-team All-Canadian. In 2009-2010 he was named CIS men's basketball Rookie of the Year and named to the Canadian Jr. National team. In 2013-2014 Baker was named Canada West men's basketball Player of the Year, nominated for CIS Player of the Year, and named to the Canadian Men's National team. After graduating university Baker received a professional contract and spent his first year in Germany. This last year Jordan played in Portugal where he averaged 16 points per game.

Josh Wolfram

The Kamloops native was a product of South Kamloops Secondary, where he was able to play with Kelly during his grade 11 year. Josh continued his college career starting with two years at the University of Calgary before finishing his final 3 years at TRU. While at TRU he led his team to their first ever CIS national championship. Josh was named to the 1st All Canada West Team as well as the basketball BC player of the year this last year. He was also selected to play for team Canada in 2014 at the World University Games. He hopes to continue with a professional career in Europe next season.
A graduate of South Kamloops Secondary John went on to play four years at Simon Fraser University, an NCAA Division 2 school. In 2011 he competed with the Great Britian U20 National team in the European Championships. John played his rookie professional season for the Bradford Dragons in England where he was also the head coach of the Dragons' youth program. John continued his professional career in Germany this last season. In addition to his playing experience John also brings his knowledge as an England Basketball Level 2 certified coach.

Maya Olynyk

Maya is a graduate of South Kamloops Secondary School where she starred in basketball. As a starter from grade 9-12, Maya was part of the bronze medal team in 2010-2011, and two consecutive Senior Girl Championships in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. She was also named to the Senior Girls All-Star team in all three years. After highschool Maya went on to play varsity basketball with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. This year marks Maya's fourth year as an instructor at the Klynyk; she also brings five years of sport camp instruction experience. Maya will be returning to the Huskies in the fall to continue her varsity career.

Kevin Kunz

Kevin played basketball at Gonzaga Prep. In university Kevin found his passion, he graduated from Washington State University in 2011 with a degree focused on entrepreneurial studies. After graduation he co-founded a material science company which specializes in material designed for the improvement of the worlds water quality. Kevin has been a coach at the Klynyk since its inception in 2013; each year he brings his energy, knowledge of basketball, and passion for pursuing your goals to the camp.

Corey yamoka

Corey has been very eactive in the Kamloops sport community as well as the basketball community. Corey has coached both as a Basketball BC Regional coach and a BC Summer Games coach. He has sat AAA Girls Basketball Provincial Executive for the past three years and has been the acting AAA Okanagan Girls Basketball Commissoner for since 2012. Currently Corey is the P.E. Coordinator at South Kamloops Secondary School a position he has held for the past five years, and the Athletic Director a position he has held for the past 14 years.

Jade Klette

Originally from Montana, Jade has been involved in the anayltical side of basketball for numerous years. While doing his degree at Gonzaga Jade acted as the Gonzaga men's basketball team manager which included, among other duties, assisting in individual skill development. Jade worked with some of Gonzaga's top athletes including Kelly Olynyk, Kevin Pangos, Kyle Wiltjer, Sam Dower, and Drew Barham. After graduating in 2014 Jade relocated to Boston to work with Kelly. Jade uses his knowledge of the game to run Kelly through individual and skill specific work-outs.

Drew Barham

After two years playing for the University of Memphis Drew transfered to Gonzaga University where he played from 2012-2014. In his senior year Drew was named Gonzaga's Male Athlete of the year and was named to the West Coast Conference Academic First Team. Drew lead the WCC in field goal percentage from the 3 which helped him land a contract in Japan. This last year, Drew played in Czech Republic where he averaged 14.4 ppg. He was also named as one of the top 10 3-point shooters in the league.

Taryn Wicijowski

Taryn continues to make waves in the world of women's basketball. In 2009 she captained the U19 Canadian team that finished fourth at the worlds, she then went on to play for the University of Utah. In 2010 Taryn was named the Mountian West Conference Freshman of the Year. She was a four time all-conference player (1 in MWC, and 3 in Pac-12). She ranked top 10 in scoring and rebounding in Pac-12 for three consecutive years. In 2015 Taryn was named Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year and First Team All-American, she was also nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year. Taryn spent her first two years after university playing professionally in Italy.
